Tongariro Medi-Spa, Turangi – Wednesday 5.30-7pm (beginners only 45 min-1 hour)
Learn Ashtanga Yoga, primary series, at your own pace. Beginner friendly, your teacher will work with individual needs, inclusive of people with injuries or physical limitations. More advanced practitioners will practise for the full 1 hour and a half, whereas beginners will practise for a shorter period of time.
This type of yoga in Indian Sanskrit is called “Yoga Chikitsa (Cikitsa)” which translates to “Yoga Therapy.” The sequence of movements builds up your physical strength, flexibility, mental clarity and skills to achieve inner peace. It is a sequence you can bring home
